I think the DASA idea is a good one, afterall, we’re both here to stay! May aswell show the room that although different, we can stand side by side!
Might also make the suits and / or doubters of the WTA look at us a bit more seriously!

The best sheep to clone are down South… Ask Del 🙂
Wonder what will become of that place though…

Well what a bazaar afternoon! Re-instatement into RC Forums, and a 4PM spur of the moment visit from Mark Reilly.
Odd… Just odd!

😆 It’s really funny Jim! I don’t watch it when it gets to the serious stages, but the first few weeks are hilarious with all the fails!

Alex, you couldn’t say ‘Farewell’ for me in the ‘In Memorium’ thread could you? 😆

Maybe we could have a chat about it at the meeting Alex?
Maybe if they were in a position to look elsewhere at some point, neither of us would have anything to lose by meeting?
I suppose even if nothing came of it in the near future, we could bury the past I suppose?!

Oh, and did you know Alex (I only found out last week), Mark Reillys sister is married to Mark Depper 😉

Thanks for that kind offer Alex… It is appreciated 🙂
But I have to say no thanks 🙁
My fingres were burnt badly by Richard (Can’t remember his last name) and the thought of doing Service Force work again sends shivers down my spine 🙁
I know in the whole, they probably are a very well organised service organisation, but if they knocked on my door again in desperation, I couldn’t accept a single call without being fully equipt with all administrative resources, which, based on my last encounter, isn’t the way they work for new recruits.
Again, it’s very kind & nice of you to make the offer of a word though 🙂
And it was Drulight Mark went to see just before the rate cut annoncement, he told me he was going there whilst we were having a McDonalds! The reason: To please DSG as they required 2nd & 3rd Tier engineers (Which kinda tied into that speech Bernard made in Brum where we were both at). Also told me not to repeat it as Gary would have a ‘Fit’ if he knew agents knew what RC were doing! Apparently, Gary doesn’t believe in being open, he’s very paranoid about agents knowing stuff. My reply to Mark: It’s a small world like! Not as if we wouldn’t find out one way or the other anyhow! But maybe in RC Land… We’re all just thick washing machine repairers?!
Back to lee8 though, he’s definately either romantically involved with someone in a high place, or is involved directly! He is too ‘In the know’ for a run of the mill Indie… IMO!

Although most are quiet, these comments MUST be being taken seriously. I’d bet my next girl, that people are seriously thinking about what the hell is going on and if a small percentage of Indies look at these comments and stand their ground, or make provisions to not end up in my situation (Reliant on one WP)… Objective achieved!

Jonah wrote:So no more DSG work for my Company as of 31st July 2010 and I will have to take the consequences if other work is withheld from me,
Hope not Dave, otherwise that’s another good repairer they’ve lost over principle!
Although one agent had the rest taken from him, and within a few weeks, has ended up in a position where he is charging the customer directly, and they are getting refunded from DSG!
How can Repaircare justify to DSG “Well, we did have cover there, but we let him go over your rates” With a smile on their face? I’d be livid!
Nose, spite & face come to mind!
Odd stuff!
