Basically, yeah! Who contests? What’s £30 here, £40 there… You get me?
People don’t contest because:
1: They haven’t the balls
2: They can’t be arsed
3: They get it back other ways or……..
4: They rely so much on the WP that they end up thinking fcuk it, it isn’t worth rocking the boat!I might actually volunteer myself here to go through with the CCJ and maybe set a ‘Benchmark’, be it good result or bad!

I’m debating CCJ’ing a company for £1000’s of unpaid / rejected invoices.
They date back to 2008/9.
Unless Jackal can correct me, I think it’s 6 Years, and unless a contract states in their favour, the award will go to the claimant?

Sexual.
It won’t fit on a shirt though, same reason why had to cut the last Logo down to just the WTA (It’s unreadable), apart from that, it’s ace!

You can’t compare the search facility on UKW to other ‘Paid for’ directories… 2 Completely different things! You can offer a free search facility because it’s contained within a bigger site that earns you money. You only focus within the Whitegoods industry.
Other ‘Paid for’ sites look at multi industries and are not contained within a larger, single trade focused website…? They have to be run somehow…? For instance, if UKW someday went under, could you keep the free engineer search facility online, long term, free? IMO, no. So they are 2 completely different things.

Just to clarify, FME does not charge in the same way as the site above or like the others out there like them! It’s quite a simple and clean cut offer really, try it for a year for free, if it does something for you, then you pay £10PM to remain listed. If it doesn’t, no worries, cancel your listing and it’s not cost you a bean! :innocent:
Please don’t confuse FME with the above types of sites, they are completely different.
For any site to advertise, it needs an income. That can come from ads or sponsors (We won’t have ads on FME as it defeats the object) or you charge the listers… Simples! No other way a directory site can work… End of!
I see searches carried out every day, I can also factually say that about 2 hours ago, one lister was contacted by a WP that they found from FME 🙂 (I obviously have no idea if anything has or will come from that, but the fact they were found from FME makes me smile) 😀

I just rang Dave, he says HI are changing banks which has delayed the ‘Release’ of payments. He’s hoping they’ll be released tomorrow, if not, Monday or Tuesday next week. Then it’s 3 days for clearing, so realistically, I can’t see any agent being paid until the end of next week at the earliest.
