Re: Hotpoint wf620 stuck in test mode??
Try this:
Press the Start/Cancel button until all the console LED’s illuminate.
Press both Start/Cancel and On/Off buttons together until
d OFF appears.
The default screen returns and you can select a new programme.Let us know if that has done the trick 🙂

Yep Dave, I would have thaught so… I’m abit shocked to hear that other people can’t have their cardboard collected for re-cycling…. 😯
I’m obviously quite lucky then with the amount of cardboard waste that we get here!

Must be just my council then…. Rhondda Cynon Taff, we operate from an 1000sq ft Industrial unit, and they are here EVERY WEDNESDAY, FOC. Cardboard only, must be flatpacked.

Local Council…. They have a re-cycling scheme, they come every Wednesday and collect it all for free 😀

This has just happened to me also 🙁
Guy came in with TNT van with fridge on the back. Unloaded it and dropped it in. One of the girls took all the customers details, booked it in and stuck the job card on the fridge.
Workshop Engineer diagnosed compressor gone, tried to ring cust to give quote…. wrong tel number, did 118118, no person with that name at that address….. Got another Engineer to call at the address given…. False 🙁
Where do I stand now with regards to the keeping or scrapping of this fridge? Any help would be most appreciated 🙂

OK, just a couple of quick questions,…
1, If there are no credit agreements, and the customer defaults on payments, how do you get the machine back if the customer refuses acsess to his/her property? We’re not bailiffs and don’t have the power to enter premesis without permission and the Police probably wouldn’t even look at it?
2, If you spend, lets say £300pm on advertising for me, and I only manage to rent 5 appliances per month, where do we stand then?
I know these are quite grim scenarios, but they are possible situations, so I would be interested to know the answers to the above. 🙂
