Maybe I’m jumping too far ahead, but would this be a problem? I’m just assuming that the www address would have to be the same as the abreviation?

Also, this was stated early on in the subs forum….
But you have to remember that, if we go down this path, that this (in my view) would be an association for independent repairers and retailers, not corporate bodies, not insurers, not work providers, not manufacturers and so on.
Not that I suppose it really matters, but could we clarify if the WTA will be open to Manufacturers?
Thanks 🙂

BlockedRe: Card Payments
IMO, the best thing you can do is to go speak to your Bank representative, get some quotes and then when you understand it abit more, you can go and get different quotes from different Banks. Just like comparing Credit Cards….. and no, you don’t have to change Banks 🙂

Jackal wrote:So definitely we need to do it. Stop talking about it and start the process, the whole point of the TA once running is to following the democratic wishes of its membership. We cannot set out an agenda for work until we form the association. So lets form the UK Whitegoods Independent Service Engineers Trade Association or UKWISE for short. :D:D
Here here!

I don’t believe it was the WP making up these rules, just following what LG dictate, IMO, this was probably partly why they have just walked away from the LG contract, but please don’t quote me on that, that is just my opinion and I could be wrong!
Personally, I like LG products, but had it not been for the fact that I have a good working relationship with CDSL, I wouldn’t have been doing LGs work. I think that LG will miss the support given by Repaircare, as the spares setup and availability of spares for LG are second to none. We will see!VillageIdiot2

Yep….. The scenario posted is accurate and has happened for different reasons a number of times! Rarely, you would claim Labour again as a different fault, but 2-3 Months later, it was debited back 🙁 .

I agree! Nothing wrong with the product, We didn’t agree with rates / recall periods etc and quite a few LG under Guarantee jobs actually ended up costing us Money due to the 90 Day recall system! (typical example…. change pump 02nd Jan, Invoiced £X.XX 😀 , bearings gone 26th March……Job done for free 😯 🙁 )
I have to stand up for CDSL here and applaude them for parting company.

It’s worth checking recall periods! £37 (+£3), is that for 30Day or a 90Day recall period?

😮 That is absolutely crazy….. Freedom of speech? Would that stand in in an Employment court?
BG Engineers (along with the rest of us) really benefit from info on this site….., in my opinion, people should be encouraged to use this site! But….. it always is the odd few that spoil everything a! 😡

Hi Alex, I did look for earlier threads, maybe not enough though! I’ll look again….. However, you confuse me…… how do you prefer anonimity when you advertise your name, www, etc?
