    Re: Who should pay?

Just goes to show how little attention these call center staff make when allocating job numbers, this should have been picked up at the time of booking?

Lesson learnt, check policy on first visit (as normal), but not only for policy details, we will now take the model details from the policy also! And if a cust doesnt have a current cert (ie, a new policy holder, or renewing policy holder) we are not going out to them untill they have the hard copy there!

Not good enough for the customer really, but we are not Goverment funded…… We need an income!

    Jim,
I cant remember exactly, but its about £500. The support is FANTASTIC, any time I have a query, I pick up the phone and within a couple of mins….. sorted 🙂 .

For me, It is the best (and I did look at others when I was looking to buy), and like I said… I couldnt be without it and I have NO reason/need to look around for others to change.

PS… If you speak to Neil, you get a 30/60 or 90Day FREE FULL VERSION trial 😀

A Friend of mine gave up his job (he was employed as an Engineer by Merloni), handed over his hard earned cash, and 8 Months later, has no Frachise and no Job….. 😈

As a franchise Engineer, he was lovely and busy when the ’employed’ were overbooked, and sat at home when they werent! Hmmm…

To top it off, not only did he make sweet * *, they took on another Employee in the same area! 😕

Anyway….. Good luck to those brave enough!

Sorry chaps, off the subject a sec, but has anyone got a contact in Smeg that I could approach to ask about becoming an agent? (We’re based in S.Wales and I hear they are struggling for cover here)

Many Thanks in advance for any replies…… 🙂

    Re: D&G Very Busy

As far as I’m aware, (I could be wrong… so please dont quote me 😉 ), If the customer complains to D&G, they will authorise the cust to use a local repairer and issue a refferral number that should be quoted when invoicing.

I only know this because we had a customer that we were dealing with, because she had to wait 10-14 days for an out of stock part, she complained to D&G and hey presto…… when we went to contact her to arrange the fit part visit, she told me it was already done 😕 😕 😕 ……. by a local guy who just happened to have the part in stock and D&G had authorised this 👿 .

    Maybe worth asking.
