    Re: hotpoint wf

The legs on this machine are the same ones as on the WMA.
I see the ones shown for this model on Qualtex are the newer type.Does it matter which to fit .This model is WF54

    Re: hotpoint wf

Checked everything and put allot of grease on legs, still knocks.Pushing down hard on the drum when on full spin stops the noise, will order new legs unless any other ideas. If it is the legs i will have to order allot of them because most of the 1400 spin machines i am getting suffer from this.

    Re: hotpoint wf

Thanks ,All the 1000 and 1200 spin machines that come in are fine but the 1400 seem very noisy on 1400 spin. The concrete in bolted on tight but the noise seems to be from there.

Changed the 3 cold inlet valves and the machine went through a complete cycle ok.The clothes were rather damp though after 90 minutes drying.

Spares prices from them keep rocketing.Wma interlocks have gone from 1.99 to 3.39 in the last week.Their pattern Hotpoint Wma door boot to me are 8.87,which is over a pound dearer than an original.I was told by a rep that i am a dying breed because i recon machines and they concentrate on other things
They have a huge stock so if they wont give me discount i will use them just when i need a spare that no one has

I did not connect it up or take it out.I did notice that the pipe from the sump to the pump was weeping very slightly at the pump connection .

Exchanged the machine, got the machine back to workshop and now cant fault it.Machine start light normal and no flashing lights.Put it through a couple of washes and all ok.Can anyone explain what would cause this .
