    Re: CDA BI1200WD H/C

If its a typical Siltal washer dryer, I have done loads, rather than remove the tank, remove the heater, place a long thin wooden plank in to fill the gap the heater would. This way the gromet wont keep popping into the tub. Lay the machine over onto the dispenser side. apply washing up liquid to the inside of the sump hose so the inner gromet slips up easy. fit the sump hose into place and slip up the gromet till it clicks into place. This is a cow of a job and very dangerous to your fingers as the tub is RAZOR sharp! Sometimes I have had to order up a spare sump hose as i have ripped the first one fitting it causing a very frustrating leak!
The soap dispensor hose is just as nasty!
    Good luck!

lerch wrote:If fridge to cold and freezer not really getting cold then main suspect is divertor valve, if not I would go with pcb.

I actualy forgot to mention the freezer is fine. If anything its probably running around -25 it felt that cold.
Im sitting tight on this one for now, but Im thinking more along the lines of PCB failure.

The timer modules on these tend to stick if the carbon brushes are down…. Could it be that perhaps?

Re: Creda Europa double oven fan problem… HELP PLEASE…

Arr yes….. Thanks for that goosegreen. I do remember the little fan now that you have mentioned it. The old motor doesnt have it on and it should thinking about it. Starting to make more sence now. She hasn’t used the main oven for years and she told me it broke again very soon after the last motor was fitted, however it’s the bearing thats collapsed on the old one.
New back fan blade on order…
Will post back again if it doesnt cure it.
    Thanks once again.

    Re: Hotpoint BF162 dishwasher.

I had one of these the other day. I had to down tools and go because the lenss were broken and then the plastic button finger thing broke. LOL what are the odds of that? Bloody thing. I think the next time i order a pcb for one of these i will order up a set of the silly lenses too. Must be the heat that makes them brittle and yep, they are a swine to line up. For the reccord, there is a screw in there to hold it all in place.

Are you sure it cant be replaced? Some of the sensors on the Hoover candy fridge freezers are in the insulation and need digging out. there is a correct procedure.

I once had a simular problem with an AEG machine. It turned out to be a very slight blockage in the pressure system. (the plastic connection for the pressure hose).

So, if I order up the main PCB from connect which is 5045173347618 will it more than likely need setting up with the smart card reader and low end adaptor then?
