    take out the flap valve inside the cover and try the pump again

    Found it.The thermostat was intermittent,(tapped the connector block and it caused the heater contact solenoid to chatter.In fact the actuating arm for the switch had displaced itself on the solenoid arm.changed the thermostat,sorted the actuator and jobs a good un.

    Ive had a few of these valves break.I normally take the valve out and tell customer half load dont work anymore.If they particularly want it its a new pump unit

    Thanks that clear enough.Did notice messy deposits at the tallest point of the manifold,maybe blocked ?

    If you have no supply to switch,work backwards to mains power inlet.I have had to replace mains filter units in the past.When you look at the filter unit they are often blackenened by the blow up particularly if in a house on a fuseboard.

    Thanks Martin any idea at what point the machine puts the salt through the resin…could sit and watch it.

    Thanks Chris,yes I get that a lot when out servicing.This machines mine at home and I have done all the usuals.I was wondering whether the module has some sort of reset to factory settings.Thinking maybe the resin is not being regenerated
