Re: Hoover HNL 6166 – stops midway through cycle

well, well, well – disconnecting the inlet pipe to the pump revealed a small ziploc bag lodged in the pump entry pipe!

Of course, chief engineer blames me, cheek! – however I am renowned for leaving various motorcycle parts in my jeans and the bag does resemble one that would hold such parts (the parts were not in it!)

Running a cycle to see if that was the problem but I’ll bet it was. As usual thanks for all the help, you guys came up trumps again!

cleaned the filter – I can check the pump if someone can give me a clue as to where it is – i.e. which panel to remove?

chief engineer says the start & delay start lights flash alternately – I will wait until it does it again & observe further

NEW – CE says the pump has stopped pumping now – could be the pump?

Hi Don – tks for reply. checked out the links but nothing seems to match – no mildew (Chief Operator very particular about that) Soap trays clean, tried changing detergent brand – no mousse etc. on towels.

Re: Blomberg 1301 ABB – no power

sorry – should have checked the forum more thoroughly! 😳

I have removed the main circuit board and can now see a blown track as has been described in other topics.

I am right in thinking it’s new machine time??

    Hi Penguin

sure am – in the last two weeks, the freezer seal has gone, the washing machine started playing up and the oven is on the blink! – must be some appliance law of the universe in action! 🙂

Your expertise is appreciated. I’ll check the earth connections but it is strange as the range is just over two years old and has not been moved since it was installed. I’ll let you know
    cheers,
    Kevin

Penguin you are fantastic!! cleaned out the bell & it’s working good as new.

Certainly glad we don’t have to spend the £103 that Comet wanted for a control unit!!

    can’t say thanks enough

    all the best
