Why do customer say ‘ I’ve had problems with this machine from day one’, and then proceed to tell you the manufacturer came out twice during the guarantee to get coins out of the pump! :rolls:

Getting punched in the face is always a slight annoyance of mine 😡
This customer (massive he is, twice the size of Goatboy) is having a new m/c delivery by yours truely. I’ve just got the m/c throught the door and it’s stuck abit on some stone flagging.
Massive customer comes bounding over and shouts…
“I need to go out pretty soon, so can we urry dis up abit?”
He then graps the edge of the plastic packaging and rips at it. I’m hunched over the m/c wiggling it free from whatever it’s caught on. Guess what?!?!?! Yup, the packaging rips, and his massive neanderthal hand uppercuts me in the eye 🙁 🙁 🙁
He managed to swell up all the top of my check-bone just below the eye socket! I didn’t react! I just held ne face for a while and quietly said…
“ggggrrrrrrraaaaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrr”
“Sorry, would you like a brew?”

Then when you get there, the ‘back’ is full of dog-turd 🙁 🙁 🙁
Tho if the back is full of turd there’s usually a hose-pipe to blast it off your trolley tires!

Moan and winge about their £260.00 Indi WM…… winge, winge winge, that’s all I had for the best part of an hour….I’ve paid all this money on this WM….blah blah blah……… I’ve just spent £6000 on a new bathroom, I don’t need the expence of a new washing machine!!!!
” I thought you rented ?” I asked Inquisitively, knowing full well she was a tenant. Oh yes but the landland was happy for me to put a new bathroom in and it is absolutely gorgeous!!
£6K on a bathroom and you don’t even own the chuffing house but only £260.00 on an Indesit WM !!!!!! 😯 😯 😯 😯

Customer phones this morning to enquire what time I’d be calling today? I reply “sometime between 9 and 12!”….”Perfect!” he replied, “see you soon then!”
So at 11:40 this morning (having driven 18 miles to his house) his young son answers the door and informs me that his dad was taking a shower and could I call back in about 30 minutes?

I politely informed his son that I’d come to fix the washing machine and not come to wipe the soap from his dad’s eyes! :rolls:
He shouted to his dad and with a slight delay and a bit of swearing on his dad’s part they allowed me into the kitchen. I waited a further 10 minutes before the guy came out of the bathroom and spoke to me about his errant washing machine.
20 minutes later the job was done and paid for, and the price, I hasten to add, included an ‘inconvenience- don’t mess Martin about- surcharge’ 😈

When they argue about your diagnosis (it’s the timer! I’m telling you, it’s the timer!) right up until the moment you’ve fitted the element (or pump, or whatever) and it works. Then they’re amazed. 😛

haha dangerous terrority he says i am all for equal rights and that but there are a few things that women cant do as good as men and trying to be an engineer is one of them.
On the other hand they are good “domestic engineers”…i.e cleaners 😆

I would have loved to have been proved wrong when I worked for manufactures but I never met a decent female white goods engineer.

The most common annoyance I get is customers who insist on swabbing down the lid of the washing machine with their dirty washing up water just as I’m unscrewing it. In a few more seconds they could take away the thing and do what they like to it but instead I get treated to a faceful as they splash it everywhere 😡
