Silconed kick-plates! I’m seeing more and more of them all the time 😕
Customers that don’t have coffee are annoying too (yes, this did happen today).
And have you noticed how customers always have the same conversation starter when you answer the phone…

Siliconed kick plates.I think your right the kitchen fitters love spreading that stuff about.Its great when you spend twenty mins getting all the plinth off and then find its been tiled over the feet.
Had a classic the other day.Machine not pumping out .Remove manky old sock from sump hose give the customer her bill.
She says. Do I get a guarantee with that. So I pick up the manky old sock and chuck it in the bin and reply.
Yep i’ll give you a lifetimes guarantee ,that sock will not block your washing machine again.

The only thing i guarantee is mechanical and electrical repairs,cosmetic parts,door seals,blockages etc get NO warranty whatsoever but they do get a dated reciept and explanation as to why no guarantee if such is the case.
dont guarantee door hinges or handles either. especially WM hinges.
New ( mech or elec compontents ) is 12 months guarantee,But only 6 labour ( aint my fault its gone wrong again ). Apart from cooker elements which is 12 months on both.Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?

Thick, spongey carpet too. About half a centimetre clearance to the work-top :rolls:

Customer so very desperate to get her dishwasher fixed as “it’s used 2 to 3 times a day as a rule”
I cleared glass from drain pump 2 months back and (apparently?)…..
“The same things happened AGAIN and we’ve only used it ONCE in all that time?”……AND…..“I’m not going to pay any more as it should be covered by your 12 month guarantee?” :rolls:

When you give them the bill for, in example, £48. Why do they say I’ve only got £30 in cash, so it will have to be a cheque.
Do they think you’re going to accept the cash?

I keep getting customers that think pouring bleach into a dishwasher will make it start emptying again!
Then of course, you’ve got a dishwasher full of water and bleach to deal with :rolls:

Today dishwasher nightmare was the usual though….

i was about to plunge my hand in the base of a dishwasher a few months ago when the customer informed me that because it wasnt pumping out that her husband had poured industrial drain cleaner into the base to clear the blockage 😯 5 seconds later and my hand would have been burning :rolls:
