Had a call diverted to my mobile the other day, I was driving (handsfree) so I asked the guy to text me his address and postcode as I couldn’t write it down and I would get to him the following day.
Later that night I finally got a text with just his postcode on it. So I texted him back asking for his house number and street name.
Sure enough a few moments later back came a number and a street.Next day was one mad day and I went to the address only to find two young ladies who weren’t in need of any of my services 🙁
So I just skipped the call and finished the day.He rang me up a few hours later asking why I didn’t call. When I explained about the wrong address he said:
‘oh, well our address is very difficult to find, so I gave that address as it’s easier’ 😕Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?
Bosch washing machine, complaint = Not spinning as fast as it used to and comes out much wetter. 😯
Faffed around with the machine and in all departments, even sat through 20 mins of towels set on rinse and spin and there was NOWT wrong with it!:rolls:
Q : “Listen lady, there ain’t nothing wrong with your machine just what exactly has been the problem you have experienced anyway?”
A: “Well when I put the same washing I do each week from the washer into the dryer it’s been taking twice as long for the dryer to dry the washing!”
Q: “Didn’t you suspect that the fault may NOT be with the washer and that the DRYER may be faulty?”
A: “It’s a brand new dryer, I’ve only had it a month, it can’t be that, can it?”
Q: “Maybe I should take a look at it eh, whilst I’m here?”
A: “Well OK then!”
Solution = Dryer’s vent hose crushed behind machine, no air getting out. Cut off 3 foot of vent hose and reconnected to outside vent. 8)

Take it you charged 1.5 X normal for working on two appliances!

Not much work today. Did have one woman customer today that seemed to want more than just her washing machine repaired!!
She stood there watching me fit a door seal to her washing machine, with the aid of a bit of washing up liquid and then said ” I think you would make a fantastic gynecologist” Errrrrrrrrrrrrrr I laughed nervously and said “I dont think so” 😳
Sometimes it`s great to get back to the safe haven of the old van!Graham

GrahamI’m betting she wasn’t 25 yrs old and fit… those ones never are unfortunately :rolls: 😉

Not fit or 25 but attractive I have to say 😉 But it`s never worth the risk IMO. Sure it must be covered in the WTA code of conduct is it not?Graham

God how I hate cigarette smoke. But how the hell can you ask your customer to stub out her fag without causing offence is what I’d love to know? 😕
Mobile home, kitchen area the size of a postage stamp, integrated E/lux washer dryer has got to come out as the belt’s busted. Fag-ash Annie sat by the door on her computer Facebooking somebody all the while puffing on her Marlboro lights, one after the other. Must have got through 3 in the time I was in there choking to bl**dy death!
Came home stinking like a bleedin’ ashtray…………Passive smoking?……I should say!….even the wad of 20’s she paid me stink to high heaven of the ruddy stuff….:rolls:

How about carrying an old asthma inhaler in your van, when they whip out the ciggys, you whip out your inhaler and start wheezin! 😉

Believe me it doesn’t work. The ones who light up when you are working in their kitchen wouldn’t notice anyway 👿
I usually leave the kitchen and tell them I’ll wait in the van till they’ve finished, clock running of course 😉Tony

A new customer phones on a Saturday. Someone who lives quite close. She knows this and thinks that i can just pop over anytime because i live so close regardless if i’m busy or not. I had a list as long as my arm that day and HAD to be somewhere by 7 that evening and couldn’t be late so she wasn’t pleased when i couldn’t promise a visit that day. She agreed for Monday then. In fairnes she wasn’t well, choked with flu and probably frustrated with machine and not feeling well. Also she did leave me a message earlier in the week and i just totally forgot about it..
So i go that Monday, never met her before. So i don’t know how or what happened but we ended going on a date the following Saturday and she is accompanying me to a wedding this Saturday 😯
