this really peeeee,s me off

customers who stay in new housing scemes which arnent on sat nav

dont think to mention on job notes where they are

they dont have or wont put landline on job

then they put iether an old mobile or

some twat who doesnt know anything about job

or
someone who appears to have went to woodstock and never returned

when you eventually get their they are oblivios to you efforts to get to them ..

normally some smug yummy mummy with little timmy and oliviia .. feeding them pine needles – freshly picked avocado soup .. teaching them advanced math

they will usually be watching jamie oliver or something with there new studio type kitchen-lounge which flatscreen and 2 seater leather couch seating area ..

oh and to cap it of they have bought a curry essential dishwasher which isnt getting rid of little timmys asparigus – wild mushroom paty .

good job we are all leveal headed proffesionals who dont have guns ..

You got to admit though, at least you get half an acre to work in in those kitchens!

yip got to admit you do get the space , but you got to watch out for the cheap lino thats supposed to look like their real wood work tops .. yeah right ..

dont know about anyone else but these new housing developments seem to be housing a new breed of pretentios yuppys ..

they have no landline telephone , cheap 4 wheel drives ( supposed to be rangerovers ) . cheap brown and whitegoods , no bog roll , and will defo not offer coffee etc ..

maybe just me ? lol

I guess the bog roll must be hidden…. like the waste bin in the kitchen 👿 .

As for not offering you coffee, well… then you’re obviously fully justified in getting the shooter out.

had one today, daughter chasing up repair to mothers washing machine

“you havent been back to finish fixing my mothers washing machine”

ok, who are you?

they confirm their mothers name and address, me looks up original booking

ah yes, we left a message an we were waiting on your mother to confirm an appointment

“ok well we didnt get it and you didnt follow it up, have you got the parts now?”

well as we didnt charge you for the call out in the first case, because we werent sure whether you wanted to pay nearly £100 for that repair, we therefore didnt order the part, so no we dont have the parts as we have no record of authorisation to complete the repair

“thats not great customer service is it, if you hadnt heard anything you could have called us, how long will it take to get the parts in?”

this is a 4 year old zanussi washer dryer, handed down to her mother by aforementioned daughter… bought from john lewis.

brb just got to go find my registered charity no. so i can go get some more funding to pay myself…

actually this isn’t annoying its hilarious.
got a call to go to a hotpoint thats noisy.
when i got there the lid was off and a vaguely familiar piece of metal.
i opened the door and rotated the drum and sure enough the bearings were shot. when i said this he proudly said that that was his conclusion too and because they’d made it “impossible” to get at the flywheel he “made the job easier” for me by taking an angle grinder and cut a fifteen inch square section out of the cabinet. now i recognised that bit of metal! he only called me out cos he didnt have a tool to pull the bearing out.
needless to say i walked away after politely pointing out how thick he was. then i rang every repair guy i know to have a bloody good laugh.

A phone call i received today….

LADY…we have a bosch washing machine in a rented house that we own.we brought the machine from currys 18 mths or may be 2yrs ago?,The Tenants have told me that w/m is making a noise.

We are not happy with currys because thay will not go out and look at it without charging us > :eeek: and we dont know whether this is still in the gtee…or not, so thought that i would try a local independent repair man like you , can you go out to it and take a look and tell us what is wrong..?

Had a run in with Chris Tarrant’s fiery bleached blonde girlfriend this morning. Called to fix a dishwasher and politely asked her what the problems was? Her reply “It’s NOT functioning!” and when I asked her, again very politely, if perhaps she could be a little more specific? she replied….”…well YOU’RE supposed to be the repairman, so you tell me!!!!”
