Voicemail message left on Saturday “My Indesit washing machine is showing a fault code, F11, can you call us back to arrange to have a look?” When I return the call Sunday eve, “Oh yes, thanks for getting back, but we’ve ordered another machine as we think it’s terminal.” I want to say “have you checked the filter as it may be just a blockage?” but, knowing they’ve made up their minds, bite my tongue and reply “Oh OK, that’s fine, thanks for your enquiry.”

regards last two posts, i find that most the people that phone you at weekends to be a waste of time , so i dont bother with them,

What gets my blood boiling is knocking at the front only to be told just hang I’ll open the back gate and then your waiting while they find the padlock key and when they do your having to stumble over all kinds of shyte because the ally way hasn’t been used for a while and then when you get in the kitchen you can see the front door a few steps away. The first thing I then do is ask to use the toilet which of course is either next to the front door or upstairs!!!

The ‘undecided’s’ who call you and waste 10 minutes of your life 🙁
Geezer rings today about an old Tricity sovereign with a screeching fan.
Took the time to advise him that it was indeed worth saving if the rest of it was in as good condition as he described it.
Gave him a quote which he seemed happy with, wrote down all the very lengthy instructions of how to find his house and booked him in for wednesday, lovely.He calls back 20 mins later and announces that his wife just wants to get a new one :rolls:
Why the hell dont people discuss things before they call us? I mean I understand the desire to replace an 18 year old appliance but why waste my time asking for advice then totally ignore that advice.
Get similar people week in week out 👿

Job completed,tools away invoice written and customer has paid, when they ask “could you just have a we look at my …..” they want another appliance checked for free. 👿 👿

“Oh yes, what time will you be here?”
“I should be with you between 10 and 11 this morning”
“That’s no good, I walk the dog at 10.30, I’ll be out for about an hour, but you can wait for me”Of course, can’t upset the dog’s routine!

Customer “Can you call and look at my washer “, “yes we charge £35 to diagnose the fault, payable on the day of the engineers visit” . Customer “what happens if the repair cost is less than £35” :rolls:

Mr @Been on the internet to find the fault’ called yesterday for his Samsung washer……er no hold on its a…….LG. Found that the fault code OE is an unbalanced load :con: but still gives the same fault when empty. Can I call out and look at it. Gets all his details etc, sort out my route and set off. Half an hour later he’s back on the phone…’Oh I went back on the internet and found another site with the info so I don’t need you’.
Why oh Why can’t they p*ss about first and then call us. 😈

Whilst having a look, suspected board she says “oooh I’ve just found the instructions and it’s still under guarantee ” !

Mother nature had Natural Selection to rid the world of meat that could not survive alone.
In the 21st century humans developed so much that mother nature has retired and is sat back laughing at us, occasionally sending us the odd disaster as a joke.
The meat now survives and spends the day irritating the crap out of everybody else.

Customer on the phone at the weekend “my bosch washer has stopped turning you fitted brushes two years ago and charged me £75 which i thought was very expensive at the time and i am not happy that it has only lasted such a short time ” after a conversation where we tell her the call out charges etc she says “i am not paying that infact i want it repairing at a much reduced rate “,she then reads out the date on the invoice during her moaning stating “i dont think it is very good that a repair done in 2009 has only lasted this long ” we then point out that it is four years ago and not two as she stated ,she says “well three and three quarters actually ” :rolls: ….probably the most unjustifiable complaint ever …unless you know otherwise 😆
