Or when you tell them the fault and solution that contradicts the husbands, they still believe the muppet they married is right.

“would you like a cup of tea” my reply, “no thankyou”,
5 mins later,”are you sure you would not like a cup of tea”,
approx. 10 mins afterwards “are you sure you would not like a cup of tea”now moving forward husband arrives home.
he says “have you asked him does he want a brew”
he normally repeats this a few times.now i know the easy way out of this, its to say yes, but their are 2 issues here, firstly they will remind you half way through the repair to stop and drink your tea, and the next is their dancing all over your tools to make the brew.
when i received my training at indesit (no comments please) an engineer told me never to drink out of cups due to infections, as he found after stopping accepting brews he had less time off work, after that i never have.
the one i love is for some reason if i have to isolate the kitchen and say yes to accepting a brew, 😆 keeps them thinking for a few mins anyway.

Beat this.
Partially laying on the floor trying to get the brushes out of a machine in a stinking dog grooming parlour, covered in dog hairs. The smell suddenly started to get a lot worse. I look up to see that a Venterinary nurse had come into the room and was in the process of clearing the anal scent gland on all the dogs the groomer had groomed that morning. You’ve got to be taking the p*** love, couldn’t you warned me.

I love the owners who believe l want to say hello to there dog, even had someone trying to give me some treats to give the little s88t, as this will stop him trying to bite me.

It must be one of those days. Got a call from customer, after you repaired my oven yesterday, my dishwasher is no longer working. There’s no power, Ive checked the fuse and the fusebox, all is ok so it must be something you did yesterday.
What planet are some of these folks on??

as per Martins USA experience, I have added this to our t&c’s, pre pay customer, one sighting of a dog running towards me to say “hello” and I am out the door.

Its a good idea, 4 times l had to ask an owner to place their mutt in the cage, kept getting the response he’s ok, except each jump it made it tried to bit me. In the end l gave her three options, the one she didnt like was next time it jumps im putting my screwdriver in it forehead. She took me up on the third option and told me to leave. One of the advantages of being in charge.

Total crap Lee. I don’t know who you are trying to convince with this nonsense. But if you threatened me likewise with sticking a screwdriver into my dogs head I would report you instantly to the authorities. So stop this hypothetical dreamlike rhetoric…. :rolls:

I got jumped by a jack Russell years ago after the customer told me to just come on in. I love dogs but I won’t take chances with them
