just had another thoght , does it make any difference how long the water inlet pipe is? i have had to use the outside tap to connect it to the washer to test it , the pipe is about 7 metres long as the washer is in the conservatory. ❓

I don’t think anyone could beat that thread Alex. That is by far the most impressive bearing change I have ever seen!

I think Martin is trying to get this thread to rival an all time epic. If you have read War & Peace then THIS should be a doddle. 😆
I did try and draw comparisons with our friend Evren earlier in this thread, Evren also had quite an interesting thread about his Candy Alise timer as well. 😆

ah, but wait, i still have one more question, you don`t get rid of me that easily 😆 –as i said before eveything now working fine, i fixed the leak, it was leaking from where the water heater fits into the drum , i just pushed it right in and tightened the nut on it and put some silicon on it for good measure. seems have done the trick.
anyway the dryer element needs changing as its not drying very well if at all . i checked the resistance with my multimeter but wondered if anyone could give me anytips on testing this further just to be sure before i order a new one?
do you think i should have put this in a new thread or is it ok to keep this one going?February 9, 2011 at 8:49 pm #341431quickwash
