    Hi

The fault you’ve described is of the fan toc failure which turns the fan on to cool the cabinet down.when this fails it overheats and switches off until it cools again.

It may be better to have a engineer visit to make sure though.

    Hi

Can you please supply the full serial number which is either on the front chassis when you remove the drawers at the front or on the rear bottom of the chassis.there are several variations of the oven and they have different elements.

You can also e mail me a couple of photos of the element to see if I can match it service@ffrservices.co.uk

    Hi

All you can do is see if it’ll dry out on it’s own..was it a spray gel ?.

It shouldn’t have affected the elements but could have got into the light fitting.

RSG5’s have always had problems with the PCB’s. They also shut down and in principle go into demo mod for no reason defrosting the whole appliance. Changing all the PCB’s and also inverter board made no difference. Ice makers are also a nightmare as there are several but you also have to change the door as well as the ice maker and auger motor ass if you can get them to send the correct door.. also bear in mind that you may also need to change BOTH doors as they have different finishes but they have kept the old part numbers for the new type and used a new number for the old type..Typical korean lunatics.

Send me your e-mail addy and I will send you the manual over.

There is also the other option to a kettle and that’s a instant hot water tap which goes onto your sink.

They supply instant hot water using a lever.. They are a couple of hundred but we wouldn’t go back to a kettle unless I had to after using one for 2 yrs plus..I even put one into the office.

There are sometimes 2 screws on the rear. There is two on the side and sometimes one on the front corner trim facing the knobs. Then it’s brut strength to lift it off. If The shaft is broken Its obsolete but can be repaired if you send it down to me

    Re: Prestige PR90DODF (cooker)

    Hi John

Yes you can do this without undoing the gas pipes.. It’s also worth a note that if the pipework is over the cover ect then Just twist off the motor assembly and fit the new motor on its own without the blade and housing.

Re: Gorenje GV62110 Intermittent E3 Code

    Hi Eoin

For some reason the pressure switch fail’s and causes the error as it does not allow enough water into the appliance. Gorenje replaced thousands of these until I replaced every single part including the pressure switch and tried each repair on it’s own. even with every electrical part replaced the fault was still there but after watching the two units I had in and adding 1.5ltr of extra water the faults disappeared as the pump was able to have enough water to fully pump up to the top spray arm fully. Gorenje then replaced all stock of the pressure switch with a new one keeping the same part number,They didn’t exchange another after these was fitted.

    Hi

It will need a new pressure switch which has been modified, replacing the thermostat won’t cure the problem in the long run.
