Avoid the Samsung,They have several problems that they haven’t rectified as yet after several years. It comes doen to how much you want to spend on one.

    Re: Seven Days A Week

    Hi

A certain manufacturer did already have this going in several are’s a few years back and it was a real PITA as each call had to be manually invoiced for the weekend calls and then took months to get paid as a certain director could never get the time to bother authorising them.

Re: Samsung RS20CCMS American style fridge freezer problem

    Hi Loubylou

The problem could be with either a blocked drain or the bottom heater failure or insulation failure round the drain channel which will cause the drain to become frozen and then overspill into the freezer compartment

Re: Solid ice round top of Bosch chest freezer

    Hi

Ice or snow build up around the top inside of a chest freezer is normal. Reducing the amount of food in it will in fact cause it to increase.

Air contains approx 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} water and warm air rises, every time you open it more warm air goes in causing more ice build up round the top.

If you are only using 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the freezer capacity then fill your milk cartons with water and leave to freeze, then put cap back on and fill the bottom with these and put a layer of cardboard on top to lift your food up.this will make the freezer run economically and reduce the amount of air within the unit.Less air = less water = less ice.

Re: Replaced evaporator sensor but still icing up

    Hi

This unit could ice up the drain hole dependent on age if the insulation has failed. There is a kit that another manufacturer uses if the drain on yours (if i remember correctly) goes through the insulation and then comes out at the bottom.

Re: larger water heater on samsung refregator model rs253baw

    Hi

This model is an American STYLE.the model has several variations which were sold including a 110v which is why the question was asked whether you purchased it in the UK . The heater you have is NOT a defrost heater it is an evaporator cover heater.
