Re: Samsung RS21DCNS Hot on Metal Strip

    Hi

The temperature your feeling is the refrigerant circulating round the system which is normal. To help reduce it check that you have air flow round the fridge freezer as these are not supposed to be built into units.Clean the condenser at the rear (large black coil) not compressor.

    Hi Tony

Best to replace it especially if there is a run of limescale down below the door.

    Hi

This isn’t a drier. It’s a baffle and the unit will run quite happily without it. This was on the suction pipe normally just behind the compressor. Yrs hopefully you have changed the drier as this is good refrigeration practice.

    Hi K

I do agree with Carl that we should put in no ticket no entry and tickets are sent out after registration so we can vet the requested ticket holders

    Hi

if your looking for quality the the v zug wins hands down. The service is also provided by independents. Yes the company which was the distributor for the Uk pulled out but it has been relaunched into the UK by a new company over 18 months ago which has the technical back up with knowledge for over 20 yrs

The neff/bosch range is nowhere near the same quality as it was 20 years ago.

    Hi
The ovens are top quality units.

The steam oven keeps a lot of the moisture inside the food,The Back up is selective engineers across the UK.Where about in the country are you ?

Does the WHOLE oven cut off as in no power,no display or is it that the cooling fan stops or the element stops ?

    Re: Oven problem

    Hi

There is a thermal cut out which has 2 white wires and 2 blue wires that are in a plastic tube normally on the left middle towards the front. This will have normally failed if the fan had previously gone. It senses the temprature and cut off if it gets too hot or thinks it has.

Thats the way i used to see it…..but as i found out once i stoped
it changed nothing,£..on the money side,
and the area that i work in you dont get the quiet times in the week to have a day off,but i will work till 19.30hrs in the eve
