The only way to check is wether it’s got power in and then out. If theres power in but not out then you’ve found the fault.

Simply the wiring would normally be able to handle it and the cycle would be a shorter one giving faster heat up. Normally elements last longer.

Correct.. The higher the number the colder the temperature.
It should be set at 3-4.

If I remember rightly the is a small regal pcb at the rear bottom right which controls the element supply.

Do you want me to get bags organised ?. The type that I was thinking of was the PE kit type that can be passed down to the engineers kids.Cost approx. £0.60 plus £40 set up fees.Thats just off the top of my head,I will be looking to reduce it.If its a higher volume then costs come down.
Is there any other promotional you want ?Think about this so that I can get started next week.

Normal guide for cost is in excess of £200 for the glass only. The normal cause of a crack from one side to the other if no impact has happened is that the hole has been cut too small which over a period of time causes the ceramic to stress thus cracking.
