In search of the fourth cord

    Hi

I did ask concerning the rate for the training and they was offering £10 per student on a self employed basis as I previously discussed with ken..I chose to decline the post.

    Indesit – fidm201x clock

Or just simply bypass the relay on the clock as the customers very rarely use them other than to tell the time. Earn some brownie points with the wifey.

    belling B160 fridge freezer

Hi.. That’s just a temperature warning saying too hot. I would take a guess and say it’s actually a servis machine. What’s the full serial and mod number from the rating plate ?

Why do some oven elements last longer than others

“” always blowing next to the clamp fixing””

As I have said the clamps are fitted to tight. I have first hand experience and have watched the elements been made to which is why when I bulk order mine direct I request NO fixing points fitted but supplied separately.out of over 3000 elements I have only had less than 100 failures in 5 years.

all wiring colours had changed too me over 2 hours to trace all wires through but had to make an educated guess on the remaining.

I suspect that it’s not wired correctly then..New wiring diagram and harness description sent.

You made it sounds like that it is not worth the time and effort to repair it let alone it is integrated dishwasher along with the fine finishings.

If you’d like me to cosy it up for you then I can do next time but the truth is that they’re not an engineer friendly appliance. simples..

The client would be bemused to see me doing this on her pristine kitchen floor.

Then workshop it then.Saves the customer hearing the @{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}?&£ whilst the engineer works on it.or take a few towels to put on the floor under the unit.

    Hi

The paddle is made up of a top and bottom piece and then plastic welded in the middle.

Yes I do mean turn the whole appliance upside down as you can spend hours trying to get into and replace the parts on some of the models as to get to them the base has to come off and the only way to do it is by removing the 6″ feet which are through the base plate and then onto the cabinet. Not an engineer friendly design.

Re: baumatic bdw13 – bottomspray arm not rotating

    Hi

The wash pump is removed from the bottom and the easiest way is to turn it upside down as most of them will require the 4 bolt/feet to be removed fully to allow removal of the base plate.
Also had the bottom paddle split along the seam which stops enough water going through the holes to turn it.

Just to add, it did this again last night and filled the kitchen with smoke. The heater element was running red hot, with no water in the bottom.
At the same point, midway on program number 3.
