    Re: Miele pw6065 overfilling

    Hi

Normally it’s the plastic pipe which is at the bottom of the tub under the door seal.Normally full of scum and stopping the pressure switch from working correctly.
The front of the appliance will need to be opened to access.

    Re: Payments – First4Service

They have just sent an email out regarding due to computer issues they have not got paid by there suppliers which means no payments this week.

But that’s not our fault an they should factor that into the working capital.. I’m sure that the wages won’t get paid late.

    Re: Samsung wf1124xac Eco bubble

    Hi

It makes no difference on which wire goes to which of the 2 terminals.

The biggest problem we had was the eco ball getting stuck and not allowing the water to drain away.

    Hi

So you need a minute minder for a oven with the contacts on the back ? I should have one sitting about.May not be the genuine part but it’ll do the job.

    Re: Hoover dyn9164 e01 fault

    Hi

The fault clears itself when switched on and senses door closed. It will hold the fault on the core board until cleared using a mem reader. If you have one.We have then as we do a lot of HVR work under warranty and its easier and faster to get a clear idea of the actual faults.

    Re: Hoover dyn9164 e01 fault

Interesting. So to prove the door is required presumably all you need do is trip the interlock with the door open, and the code clears?

No. We change both the door and interlock as we have changed the interlock previously and had to order the door so we kill it on first visit.

    Re: Hoover dyn9164 e01 fault

    Hi Deltra

Then the door will be required as a complete unit.

This has cured the ones we’ve had under warranty and out of warranty. Don’t ask as we cannot work out why.

    Re: vat

    Hi

The majority of service providers would prefer you to be vat registered as it makes their life easier and they can claim back the vat element of the claim. where your not vat registered they have to process in a different way.

    Re: cooker hood extraction

    Hi

No 2 into 1 won’t go. they will fight each other if they are both on at the same time and cross contaminate.

You will need to use a minimum of 5″ ducting also. distance requirements :

each bend equals 0.5 mtr and exit vent is classed as a bend. Normal hoods are rated for maximum run of 3-4mtrs total.
