Re: F4 on similar adp / 6th Sense model DW

Similar model – one week old. F4 occurs near start of ANY cycle. There are two questions:

    1) is it “normal” to DW to whir for about one minute before calling for water?

    2) after first call for water, 5-10sec delay then F4 raised.

I’ve checked for filter, blockage, etc and none indicated (we pre-rinse before load … old habits die hard!).

Any specific diagnostic info would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: I think Kwatts wrong

Sorry Martin, I’m not for or against the article. It does not represent my work and I accept that it might represent someones, somewhere. Its not too gloomy or untrue, its just not what I run into in the course of my business.

If a member of the public reads it….they still have to make up their own minds and this is a view they’ll consider.

Currys(mastercare) on the extended side now run a 6 week “no repair exchange service” and perhaps ken will update the article to that extent.

    Re: LG WD12126RD Washer Dryer

The u tube shape of the inlet hose(dispensor to tub) should trap water from the last fill and not allow steam to rise into the draw area when on tumble.
So is there water in the trap?

    If not why not?

If yes, then steam is returning via the breather and the most likely cause is its not draining away correctly…ie steam and too much humidity in the tub and not being condensed…

    hope that helps.

PS pmp 777 from electrue fits this appliance …..Opps wrong its pmp999 which is even cheaper. The 777 fits beko.

Re: URGENTLY need to purchase a Blomberg Oven handle

Sorry! Should have read the postings.

It’s a Blomberg EOD605GR, and it’s the top oven handle. Can you let me know where I can get hold of one and how much it’s likely to be?

    Thanks alot.

Dave, thanks a lot for that, gotta be worth a go I think. How long does delivery take on that item? Domestic life is falling apart without a working dryer!

Thanks very much for the help people, would changing the thermostats be a complicated job? I know a little about electronics but don’t wanna be messing around with anything that could go really wrong. Where could I get hold of replacements?

We would call out an engineer but were quoted £100 for the call-out & repair, think we’d rather get a new dryer. However if I can fix it myself, that’d be the best.

    Re: I think Kwatts wrong

Interesting stuff, but hardly applies to us as we have no problems at all with customers who “want” something.

We listen and advised the best course of action open to them. Not sure where the 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} comes from, for us its not even 1{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} who demand an exchange. We are happy to provide the Manufacturer contact details and provide service history for a decision to be made.

Of course they then exchange the appliance and don’t cancle the backorder spare or even have the decency to tell you they’ve exchanged, but thats another story.
