cheers kwatt , boy does the truth hurt 😯 but being so close to xmas and wot not i’m thankfull for you putting me straight atleast i can SAVE money by not fixing the machine and put it towards a decent machine …think i’ll get a 350 – 450 bosch machine …browsing comet etc now … again thanks for your help and honesty , added the forums to my favs i’ll join once this stress has gone 🙂

To let you understand, the margins on normal mass market appliances do not in any way, shape or form allow for massive discounting at all. In all honesty the best you can hope for is a good service and an honest price, bargains in this industry are rare without a catch of some kind.

That said I got a darned good deal on a TV recently. The Sony KD32DX51 (32″ Pure Flat Widescreen IDTV) retails for £850 in the Sony shop, Currys, Powerhouse, Argos etc etc. The Sony DAVSB100 DVD Home Cinema System retails at £200. I got both from a company called unbeatable for just over £650 (it would appear they aren’t doing the Home cinema system for free anymore – just had a quick look) – that I would say is one hell of a discount and it arrived next day!

Martin, thanks for your trouble, i stripped the switch,cleaned /rebuilt /tested-ok. wiring harness goes to a multipin connector onthe programmer,one of the “pos’s” is showing overheating, must be a loose connector hich would account for the “flickering light ” that No.1 son reported ! The things we do for our kids!
thanks again Steve.Martin, thanks for the prompt response. I have found the answer and the problem. The F9 code refers to MOTOR or MOTOR TACHO FAILURE, usually brushes and in my case it was.
For reference to clear the error: whilst holding the pre wash and the short wash buttons in together turn the control knob from off to gentle spin, the clears the error and runs a LED test.

I agree with the sentiment and that you have to follow what you see as the right path.
In my case NESN had a technical win, ie I did break the contract by doing the MFI work. The rights and wrongs of that contract don’t come into it.
So any award for damages and costs would have always been in NESN’s favour, meaning I financially lose and could not afford to put my house and family at risk….the end.For you its different, this is a dispute over a grand and some spares. So I think you have to keep a perspective on it. If you are sure of winning your case then lets all say nothing until its WON. Not a word out of place that might give them cause to sue for libel etc, etc.
Is there anyone in here who works for Bradshaws??? Would you be willing to support Ken by telling them if they pursue the claim against Ken you will resign your agreement with them. This is the key really.
Its ok saying we are a warroom and a great bunch of forward thinkers but…..Have we the bottle to lose work to support ken now.
I for one will. Having had to conceed to Nesn who lied from start to finish in the declaration to the High court, and jason, mark, john f along with others were all quoted as saying various statements to trubshaw, lets just say its galling at best.So, this is an occasion where your support is needed. If you work for bradshaws…declare it here and lets know if you are willing.
Once the case is done with then we can open up the press department in full and report on that support etc.
I will also chip in to your costs ken, as said before £400.00 cheque is waiting to be sent to you, but not without your permission.

Hi,
This is a current problem with these dishwashers and a new stat is available which is self reseting. The TOC is only rated at 78 degrees 10amp at 250volts….and trips out regulary. Try to speak to your supplier about the new stats and get one fitted.
The carlton slimline is the same appliance and also suffers the same problem, don’t change the bank of 3 stats(its a pain) as this won’t cure the problem. Unfortunately Carlton don’t seem to be able to supply a modified stat.
There is no part number for the modified stat but are sent foc to agents for use on Necht appliances. We replace this stat whenever we attend a Necht regardless of fault.

Just tried the washer again and from start the timer rotates depending on the setting ie. spin etc and comes to a finish.
The solenoids for the water do not appear to be operating so no water into the drum.
The door lock indication is operating be it intermittently and I think i have found all the missing tracks and either jumpered it or re soldered it.
What do you have in mind regards cheaper options I do know how to use a soldering iron on the board if thats what you are meaning?
What voltage will be on the terms of the lock (mains to earth I presume) as I take it that its a solenoid operation to inhibit the door opening.
