    Re: Homark cooker (model 02-722000)

    Hi Dave,

Yep, have just checked and that’s definitely the model number – written on a little silver sticker on side when oven door open.

If it’s any help, sticker also says element is a 2.5kW one and it looks pretty much like the one in this link (the last one at the bottom of the page for a shocking £52). Does this help (you to help me)?

    Cheers, Richard

    Re: Hotpoint Advertise Franchises!

According to a hotpoint engineer that I know the gas engineers are earning around25K with hotperloni because of generous bonus schemes designed to keep the wages high….

The employed washer guys are on close to £20 a call to do saturday work and if they do 4 saturdays in a row theres a £100.00 bonus. No wonder hotperloni are trying to get independents to do it for circa £17.00 to £30.00.

Re: Where can I buy Siemens Variozone KG28xm40gb fridge/free

Well I finally got a response from Siemens themselves

“Sorry for the delay in answering your query, we have been advised that this will be available at the end of the year.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.”

So now to choosing another option 🙁

    Re: ariston LI62 dishwasher fault

    Hi

I am having a similar problem with my Ariston. Water in the base, left hand green light flashing. Turned off, emptied base of water, switched back on and now no cycle lights at all! I can get the left light to flash by raising the float, if I then shut the door it will pump and then stop. If I turn off, no light again and no amount of pressing buttons will illuminate a cycle light.

Does this sound like a problem with the flood switch? Could this be diagnosed by temporarily bypassing the switch? Are wiring diagrams available for these machines?

    Thanks in advance

Re: Indesit WE 16 – Error COde F-10

Tried the washing machine again last night in a last ditch attempt to save myself £90 and guess what, the little beauty worked.
Unfortunately I am unable to determine what the root cause for the initial problem, I am just happy that its working again.
    😆 for now!

Well done chaps for all the info, not much else to say other than….a friend of mine just happened to say to me that if hotperloni move to independents then the dsg work won’t. As always this is for warroom only so as not to compromise myself or those who pass on little gems like this.

😥 I am aslo having the same problem, the f10 code has appeared on my display.
Did you have any joy by calling out the engineeer? I have one booked out on thursday, but as my machine has only just gone over the 12 month warranty period I am a little unhappy about paying the £90 call out fee. Heeeeeellllllppppp!

    To Penguin45

Thanks for the tip. I’ll call the cavalry and have someone look at it.

Just for the sake of argument, let’s suppose it’s a compressor problem or any other that you mention. I guess that these are all quite expensive repairs. I know it’s a matter of opinion, money, taste etc. but would I be better off putting the money into a replacement fridge freezer?

    Look forward to your reply.

No rinse aid being used – its supposed to be in the tablet. Have sent the boss out to buy some different tablets so will try again when she gets back! 😉

    Re: bauknecht leaking!!

Cleaned the filter, done 2 soap free run throughs – no leaking. Even topped up the salt!

Pump works well – no problem when it comes to emptying out.

Put in a Sainsburys soap tablet Perform + Protect 3in 1 tablet and it started oozing foam again. The foam gets to around 4 to 5″ deep inside, so that it’s part way up the cutlery tray.

Can it be the tablets I’m using??

Re: Diplomat ADP 8132 – anyone want mine?

You also have to factor that only 4{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} ish of new appliance sales go wrong in the first 12 months…..so service to a manufacturer should be costable in terms of the sale price/ volume..etc

However Dixon’s best profit margin is probably on the back of the after sales insurance, which is under close scrutiny at the mo by the oft and others. Without the profit generated by these sales it would be interesting to see in which direction Dixon’s share price went.

    Re: AEG fridgefreezer not cooling

    Thanks,

freezer still fine and running as usual. Fridge temp on outside 12 degrees and silent, but have put a thermometer inside (as it felt cold) and it is reading constant 4 degrees, so now I’m confused…..
