Sorry Dave but the factory that made this appliance has gone out of business so it is not possible to obtain any parts for this model.

Not all the Teba fridges were made at this factory so the parts for other models are still available.

    Hi rob

assuming this is a built in appliance you could claim on your buildings cover as long as the appliance was damaged iaw your policy…..or..try http://www.flyingtoolbox.com and buy an insurance on-line to cover a broken appliance(there are rules and limits) but it might well be easier than doing it yourself and less costly

    regards

I spoke to Gary the other day and he expressed his interest in UKW and was looking forward to the meeting. Ome thing to remember is he is new to the industry but also a very knowledgable bloke.

NESN, interesting. New management maybe new ideas. They have a long way to go but there is room in the industry for a number of networks , if they all find their own specialist niche and learn to work with the service providers.

Also it dilutes the work it is not good practices to have all yoor eggs in one basket, don’t I know.

well I guess I’ll have to buy the front bonded glass – but the inner glass could just be cut and stuck – are there any firms that can do this in london? or where i could buy the glass and glue and do it myself

    Re: Brandt CBF360WU Fridge Freezer

    hi kizzy

Its a sad fact that electronics can take us to mars and not last the 12month guarantee period out for an appliance. The reason is usually down to cost and by that I mean the unit production cost, not the retail cost. However, if your appliance is totally quiet and the condensor on the back(the black grill) is not warm at all then ok the PCB might be faulty and replacing it will get you going.

Its worth noting that an old fashioned thermostat can be purhased and fitted for a fraction of the cost of replacing PCB’s every month or so when you throw this junk away and go back to basics and buy a NOT frost free appliance.

Sigh…oh for the good old days of defrosting your freezer every 6 to 8 months…..
