actually no… haven’t quite got around to a call yet,.. the unit works flawlessly….. however Ihavae managed to fix the issue…

1 – took out the soap tray and cleaned all residue from tray and recess
2 – removed the 20pence from the pump filter

none of this worked so I performed the Micorsoft fix and powered off for 30 seconds and back on again…

error gone and normal operations have resumed.. can only assume the CPU got messed up and needed the power off to reset….

Indesit via phone were useless and after 4 calls no one had heard of the error let alone a fix!!…

seemed silly to get an engineer out when the thing seemed out!!

Wife is happy now… so I am happy now…

    Re: Flying toolbox?

Its where a customer can buy, on line, an insurance policy to repair a broken appliance, to put it simply.

Seems to work very well as we have had quite a few referals to repair flying toolbox jobs since it started.

PS try going into the site martin and it will refer you to the local D&g agent and show his charges and call out etc as well as his Quality rating.

    Re: Diplomat Dishwasher ADP8224

I have just spoken to the company and they said that because they don’t have an account with MFI they cannot order the part but will fit it if I get it. Using my somewhat limited internet skills I have been unable to find either the MFI contact or a supplier.

    Any suggestions?

Re: Pin hole in stainless steel

it’s back to keeping the hole as small as possible for as long as possible, personally if it starts to leak again in a few years then yep enlarge the hole and nut and bolt it.theres not many of us who keep different size s/s nuts and bolts but im sure you would find a s/s screw spare on the dishwasher to half inch. 🙄

To say you are efficient is an understatment!!! considering I only posted those jpg`s last night.Anyway I have managed to get some Zanussi carbons fitted that appear to be working ok so I am sorted from that POV.Can I just take this opputunity to say thanks for all the help the posters on here have offered..

As an aside I had another line of attack and recieved this E-Mail back from another company that may be of use to someone in a similar position:–

We can supply those and we have them in stock.
They are #25.00 plus VAT and #2.50 postage which comes to #31.88.

Should you wish to order these please allow 2-3 days for delivery.

Re: Pin hole in stainless steel

Or of course you could just use a stainless steel self tapper with a rubber washer on its own with a drop of good quality thread lock and its then accessible just from inide the appliance.

Re: LG GRL207EQ fridge freezer help req.

I have found that if you pull down sharply on the bit what sticks out it does have about 6″ inside the door panel assembly to allow you to put a joint onto the end.at the end of the day your not losing anything but you may save the customer the cost of a new door.
