Thank you for your prompt response, kwatt, it’s appreciated. I wonder if there are any beancounters at DD who could calculate the impact of the easy profits on these items against lost repeat sales??

Never buying again and recommending others not to buy De Dietrich must have an impact of some sort!!

    Re: Most ridiculous part price

Well, here’s one from a member of the public…

Set of four plastic knobs for a De Dietrich FW4827 built-in oven (bearing in mind that the construction is so shoddy, with four tiny plastic pins taking all of the rotational shear force, hence why they keep breaking!)…

    …£40 + VAT!

Anyone out there willing to sell these to us at a more sensible price?

    Re: No strings attached!

    Hi dave,

according to D&G DJH approached D&G to ask that they continue to send the work to the company even tho NESN had bought it lock stock and barrel.D&G were willing to keep the work there because the previous owner was still there and he had been a previous TEQ award winner.

However I have told D&G of how DJH fucked them up a couple of weeks ago and they are acting on the info with a view to going to war with NESN because they started this.

It has been said to me that they are quite prepared to replace all nesn agents with a more solid agent system and they will not be fucked around by anyone…..

you will all be aware that if you have a problem with D&G all you have to do is talk to them to resolve it…

there is more and D&G have now offered any help they can be in my battle on the legal front with trubshit and the help they are offering is of great comfort.

    Re: No strings attached!

do a good job Dave …teleSCOPE are history along with the thousands pumped into it by NESN.

D&G were offered a half share by NESN and turned it down ….and since the latest from DJH all D&G agents who supported the strike against D&G by NESN are or will be history to.

    this is warroom info only

be warned …do not repeat this info

otherwise you will cut my info line into D&G

Thanks very much. I have the wiring diagram in the handbook. Should be no problem. Grill element checks out OK.

Re: Source of parts for Diplomat E1000 Electric cooker ?

Thanks to you both for your quick reply. (I’m only frustrated at not being able to find the manufacturer Dave). In fact after trawling the internet I sussed it out as MFI just after I posted the query to you.

I have no further info except that the energy regulator is to control the Grill element. The original item is missing – some prat has taken it out and taped up the leads. I think the cooker is about 4-5 years old. The model is APL 5741.

Is there anywhere I can buy this part on line? I am in Crewe but the cooker is in Hexham so I can’t examine it again readily before I go to fix it.

This is a teddington FFD but even teddington dont have one in stock themselves.I have tried allmy suppliers who also have no stock an have had them on ack order for the past 8 weeks. You could try and see if the brass jet adapter will fit onto a standard FFD ie C5H600N I have had to do this previously after waiting a stupid length of time and have had no problembs with it.

I hear of an agent asking for answers, only to be told that they do not know the answers to his questions……

can that really be the case when the deductions have already been taken?

    Re: Service Rates

In October, for one contract, we made a total of 1108 service visits. This included 1st time fixes as well as recalls, as well as not in and aborted calls and of course 2nd visits to fit spares.

My costs per call were £26.72 and 980 of them went to payment required stage, now I’m looking at 6 rejections from that period to see why we got it wrong on these.

I’m no business man, just having to learn new skills to make sure we pay our bills, but I do know that you can’t make a profit and invest in your future if you sell yourself to cheap.

Do you know what it costs you to operate?

    Re: Electrue/NESN

This work to which you refer is possibly moving on I also hear, from an extremely reliable source.Who also mentions that the inspections were not carried out by the previously stated concern or indeed with their knowledge or permission.

Really does sound as though CORGI should be in on this one.

Someones not telling the truth, I wonder who?
