Yep the old one is iced up i,ll order it and see i thought this may be the cause very tiny motor thanks
did you make sure the defrost hole completly clear i had one which took about a minute with a good steamer to clear
Remember to change the whole kit the felt at the back is wider a lot of eng dont replace the felt .It helps to push the drum onto the front felt better
I’ve had a couple off these i think definetly check the ducting if its blocked will be the defrost timer
Ive tried to get into a fewa dyson motors myself and found most of the armeturs windings at fault burnt out may be worth buying a new motor
Yep and dont forgetto tale a spare fan because if its seized then dont pull it you will damage the motor arm and boy do they get noisy.If fan at back stuck crack with screwdriver the cost of a fan is cheaper then a new motor
sorry for the ;late reply Samsung have modified the evap cover they look the same but the foam is different.If you order the evap cover they can somtimes send the old type through.You normally have to use the old terminal block of the old one as the new one comes with different fitting.Thats how you tell if they send the old type
the piece that breaks on the onoff switch are all aligned nicely on the old one but on the new one the height from the on off button side goes up till you get to the door open end the door open is higher and so the door buttton does not work i have done several off these their are two different types a lighter plastic diffusser no problem but their is a darker colour one seems thicker and that is the problem one
