Well! Well! You were the one that told me you were well rid of agency work.

Never gave it a thought that you happen to be the agent. How do they get over F-Gas & Gas Safe? Not that I’m interested.

Is there anything I should know about RC and new work? Various comments in the general forum kinda indicate there is something in the pipeline? Am I missing something?
    Ade.

I don’t think so. I was told by someone that Bernard was going back to DSG and was going to set up a new network actually controlled by DSG. If that was the case he would not be at Repaircare, but would be on “Garden Leave” Therefore I think highly unlikely.

How Lee8 seems to have got hold of such info is beyond me. I suspect he is simply kite flying. He is nothing important, just likes to sound it, is a bit of a Troll IMO. I suppose we had better humour him just in case.

O.K. Lee, I’ll take it back for now.

You do have the right to post where you like in reality, but it was jarring me that you were throwing in asides and one-liners that seemed inappropriate. I might have misjudged you?

I have to say though, that you may be onto something, and in which case, don’t go away.

Bit of a conflict iof interest, but that would be fantastic news. Would mean at least the problems would move away from family business, (Include Connect in that) to a corporation. Mind you it did go the way of GDA, but their engineers were out of thier comfort zone and staff problems followed.

Lee8, where are you? This is your domain.

Lee8 For Gods sake pick up the hint.

There is a dedicated thread for you, please use it as we have made it clear you do not belong in this thread.

    THIS IS YOUR PLAY AREA

The way this is going I can see this subject will be only available to invited members only, and I don’t want to see this happen.

Loved the Cornish Wrecker reference Alex, years since I’ve heard that expression. Reminds me of pirates, coves and some really nasty dudes that liked bad weather.
    K.

And probably stinks of fish. I did find the dear Doctor was very confrontational and seemed to be looking for a fight.

I don’t see much mileage either. What would it acheive? Probably nothing. Same handful of people saying the same things

There are those that never post on any forums, and rely on those that do. If there was a closed forum, the likes of Ted & Whirl 4 would have probably had access under another title.

I spoke to Mark Reilly yesterday late p.m. he sounded quite happy, so you must have cheered him up Ade.

    Keep the ideas coming Ade.

    1. Repaircare are ignorant to the words on UKW because only a ‘Handful’ of agents have resigned, so their not worried.

    I can believe that.

    washdoctor wrote:
    2. The comments made about posters here (UKW) were shunted over to ‘Joke’ level as the ‘Known’ posters are ‘Apparently’ gobby, but fall over themselves to do the work when visited or spoken to via telephone, no names were mentioned, exept one, which I won’t repeat, but as a Dr, I’d think he were in the wrong trade ;).

Wonder who that is then? I cannot understand how he is still an agent. Sounds like a Cornish Wrecker to me.

    4. I was asked today “Would I stay with them if DSG were out of the equation”, my reply was yes, so was that a ‘Just curious’ question, or do they know more?

I can’t make up my mind on that which is the better option.

    5. THEY ARE WORRIED! Mark has aged 5yrs in the past 6 Months! BUT, What we need now is for Ted, Whirl4 & Rudolf to STFU with BLATANT Repaircare bullying / abuse in the DSG thread (As they aint even agents as far as I’m aware) and encourage MORE Repaircare agents to come forward and be vocal! How? F**k knows, but the current DSG thread, in Repaircare’s opinion is a bit of a joke was the feeling and impression I got today.

Whirl-4 I’m convinced is an agent, he seems to have copied & pasted some traffic from Connect e-mails.

Somebody once told me who Rudolph is, and if true, that is someone very closely connected, no pun intended. He was very active in the NESN split from Connect, and appeared to be a high-up NESN associate.

Ted, a complete mystery, Like Whirl 4 he has lain dormant for many years, and has come to life since this has gone on. Look at the traffic from all 3, they seem to know a hell of a lot of inside info.

I suspect these three are very clued up, but of course cannot reveal themselves as the reprucussions would be high.

A new thread, title VISIBLE to the public, but content RESTRICTED to participants, so……… We could have a topic headed: Ex Repaircare Agents or something similar, but restrict acsess, that gives genuine EX or about to be EX Repaircare agents a room to chit chat, AND raise awareness & interest from other people given the ‘Closed Forum’ status… It’ll at least generate curiosity?!
    Ade.

I don’t know if such a good idea, but there again there was similar in the heady Whirlpool days, and perhaps it rattled a few Whirlpool cages at the time. Ken would remember, and possibly Sean. If such a thread were set up and if Rudolph Ted & Whirl 4 are members of connect, should they be allowed in, and how could they be invited if their identity was secret? Thoughts please.

I have actually posted something on the Repaircare Forum regards the lost opportunity where someone could have had a 5 minute slot. May have worked to the benefit of all.

I’m sorry to say this but was an opportunity lost, a point that has been laboured on other websites.

It was said earlier this week that DSG was moving away from Connect

Bernard Harrison had prime time last Friday to speak to agents, but chose to leave without even saying ‘Hello’ to me, that summed up Repaircare’s interest in Independent repairers issues as far as I was concerned, and killed my interest regarding taking risks to try stick with Repaircare DSG work.
    Adrian.

Adrian, seeing your quantity of calls, that is double mine, and I have far more engineers than you. They are 16{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my revenue (Reduced from over 22{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}) I wonder how they sat with your business?

The first person that phoned me from Repaircare on Monday asking how the WTA/UKW meeting went was swiftly put in the picture regards the indifference that was displayed by his bosses. I have reinforced that with every such enquiry from them all week.

Anyone that knows me will realise that I’m not the type of person that is easily ignored, however on this occasion it was patently obvious.

No guys don’t have anything too close to home as you could never justify staying overnight.

I think you have it spot on with the venue, and the price was right thanks to the negotiating skills of Bryan.

As Jonah. We have sent everything to John for the Amica. However I will do it again as it reinforces my commitment.

I need to replace one of my work providers fairly soon as it is running at a loss.
