Why is it that customers are prepared to waste good money buying spares they don’t need, yet baulk at paying an engineer a call out charge to inspect the m/c.
Had a guy yesterday buy a belt for his servis with no drum action only to come back later asking for carbons, when i suggested the old brush sample he brought in still had some life in it and “maybe it would be better if i take a look at the m/c” he bought the brushes anyway ???Re: servicing bosch washer and dishwasher
I have only one customer (old lady) who has an yearly service on her washer, as Jim say’s when customer asks for a service quite often there’s a fault on the m/c.

Went to this on saturday, when I got there m/c worked perfectly so I took facia & display board off and examined them.
Board looked fine, start & on/off buttons a bit gunked up but otherwise ok so i cleaned around the buttons.
After testing on/off and start I left so I’ll see what happens ❓
