    I’ve fitted a few dryer elements to zanussi wd’s lately & it does seem to be the ones that hardly get used that fail most….

    I had the same problem a couple of weeks back, heater insulation test fine but i changed it anyway not been called back yet 8)

    I wonder what would happen if the green party were to run the country ?
    (not that will ever happen). Maybe they would look seriously at the issue of throw away appliances etc.

    Can anyone clarify when & what appliances are required to be PAT tested, we repair domestic vacuum cleaners should they be tested ❓

    I always quote before i do anything she agreed to pay but stated she only had 20 pounds and would drop balance off at my shop in the morning.
    I could have refused to carry on with the work at that point but as I say i know her parents and i trusted her to keep her word…… 😳

    The thing is, I know the girls Mum & Dad they’re old customers so i trusted her to pay…….
    I bumped into her Dad end of last week, he said “she’s gone on holiday untill monday” so i left it till tuesday then rang again and no joy 👿
