    Re: Whirlpool Commercial Toploader

OK i’ve got exactly the same problem now on one i’m working on, so i stripped it down but there was loads of thick oil all in the clutch. so cleaned it off and it works better it but it does slip still every now and again. So i’m gunna order a new one. Should I be worried about the oil or does it just happen sometimes? I’ve also seen a “spring kit”which is basically the gubbing of the clutch unit can i fit one of these as its half the price? Thanks DJ Ring (5031689818056)

Lol thanks ken you put me up on the “find an engineer ” link last week but I’d love just to have a simple web page so I would come up in Google if for example someone put in “washing machine repairs Monmouthshire” 😀 because I don’t at the mo.

Could be worth checking balance weights, they could be loose if it has suddenly started making knocking noises?

    Re: Qualtex troubles

This sounds really odd for Qualtex to do this sort of thing! 😐 I’m guessing they delivered it to you in there own van and thats why they won’t pay out, mind you they are pritty silly if they don’t insure themselves for damage in transit? Even I’ve got that!
