Hi Steve, Thanks for your reply. This heap! is leaking from the door on the left hand side somewhere. It actuly isn’t that much just a few drips but the customer isn’t happy. They also say it isn’t drying at the end of the cycle? No fault code coming up though.

Changed the brushes on this motor today and it spun fine.
30 mins later the customer phoned to say they had put a load in and the same thing happened again.
the door light started flashing again.
Any ideas?

Hi John, I had the same problem with a hotpoint TC11 model a while ago.
It was the start relay.
Not sure if yours is a similar model?

You got a bargain there Neil. I’ve just paid £650 for a Fluke multifunction tester. All Meters, Earth loop Impedance,Insulation resistance, and Rcd testers should be calibrated every 12 months. Just had my 3 Robin Meters calibrated. £85.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is a 908.
I cleaned the syphon tubes a few weeks ago after a previous fault. I will have another look though, just incase.
I did hear a humming sound after it stopped? thought it maybe the wash motor trying to turn. I checked and it was running fine.
