The very first ISE2 I installed definately had this valve stutter. You could hear the valve open as the door released and the sound of water filling. The door then locked again and the water stopped. It repeated this until switched off.
I haven’t witnessed it on the 5’s I dont think.bazza500

In that case you need to remove the sump hose and check for lost socks etc. There must be a blockage somewhere. It doesnt have to be completely blocked, just enough to slow the flow down for the machine not to empty in the time allowed. Also check the pump housing for coins where the hoses attach as these are a perfect size to block the flow but can swivel to let it through at other times.
My money is on the socks…. 🙂

These machine seem really sensitive to OOB loads. Wouldn’t explain not spinning empty though but would take what the customer says with a pinch of salt.

When it comes up with FP is there still water in the machine or is it empty?

ParticipantRe: Bosch single oven
I don’t know if it would. The thermostat is usually right above the element so would switch it off earlier. I doubt it would make much difference to the life of the element.
Would certainly screw up the scones though. 😀

Check resistor R1 on the main board. Will probably be open cct.
If not it will be the whole board probably.
