    Re: Vestel made machines

IMHO if you break the £500 barrier with the 5`s I think they would be difficult to sell. £499 sounds heaps cheaper than £500 psycologically.

The 2`s I think are probably at their maximum when you compare them to the similair(or even slightly better) Gorenje WA50140. I know I would rather sell the ISE machines as we are guaranteed the return service work, and although I do Gorenje work we all know that could change in the blink of an eye.

But the bottom line is we have to convince the customers to buy the ISE and this will be difficult if there is a better machine with bigger load, faster spin, similar warranty and it`s cheaper.

Well that`s my 1p worth ( I know it`s usually tuppence worth but there is a credit crunch on 😆 )

Is this £400 a month an official figure?

Is this the level at which they give more discount?

    Just wondering.

6102309 comes up on connect if you search on the model. There is a picture to see if it`s the right one.

    Re: Acount problems connect

Martin you have NO idea what I pay for parts from Connect so your statement is complete rubbish!

I have recently priced my spares from elsewhere and the difference is negligible, and in fact Connect are cheaper on most things.

So to say I am being “milked” with absolutely no knowledge to back up your claim is at the least irritating.

That`s the main reason I stay with Connect. Some parts from other suppliers are cheaper but by the time you split your order between 2 or even 3 and pay 3 lots of carriage you end up worse off.

What you have probably done is tilted it when you lifted it and the water in it has ran into the back fan chamber and is being thrown onto the heater. Remove the back cover and dry it out. Leave it standing in a warm room for a couple of days and then try it again.

Make sure and unplug it first!

    Re: bosch electrical smell

I had a few Bosch machines where the heating element frazzles where the connections go on and smells awful. Like burning bakelite.

What I do Bill is hook a spare bit of pressure tube to the switch then put the machine on to fill. While it is filling blow gently into the tube that you have connected to the switch and this will tell you if its electrical or some sort of blockage or leak.
