    I took the front panel off, wiring loom connected to side of panel.

    I normally just take the lower panel off. as you suggested

    Don’t know why, must be one of those senior moments.

    Thanks for info will look to see if I have HP manual

    Did you find the fault as I have same one.

    Select any program and push start, door locks pump runs for one/two seconds then nonthing until turning program dial off and back on then the same happens.

    I have just got a copy of the diagnostics manual so have got to go back to this one after the new year.

    Any help appreciated

    It was an open circuit in the heater.
