Re: AEG 16850 PNC 91460530903 still very wet after drying

As I said in my post, I checked the new valve had the same colour restrictor as the old one, and it does. Do not know what else I can do regarding that.
I did wonder about the pump although it appears to work ok but it might be as you say martin Clapped out. I will have a look at both possibilities when I go back
Thanks to you both for your replies

Re: Whirlpool TD AWZ 8477 Not Drying

I have been told by another engineer that it might be the dryness module the heater relays in there fail.

It is the small pcb on the right hand side at the top.

    Could anybody confirm this?

Found the tacho in the end frame, new one tests the same as old one. Other than continuity testing is there anything else I can do?

    Thanks

Re: Hoover OPH616/2-80 prog locked up

I tried holding the start button & turning the dial, that did not work until as you say mental twiddling the dial whilst holding the start button that unlocked it. I selected spin and it spun but when I tried to cancel it, it locked up again. So I thought I would clean the program selector, only it is soldered to the board and no way to get into it. I have some Amberlube contact cleaning lubrication so I gave it a spray and again mental twiddled the dial this worked.
Thanks for your help and suggestions
