Re: Indesit WM12X Door seal clamp

The 90deg long nose pliers is what I ended up using, but I had to go back after I borrowed them from a college still not very easy. I will give the spring clamp a try.
    Thanks for all you replys

Re: Indesit WM12X Door seal clamp

Thanks for the quick reply there are two door seals listed which did you use?
C00093345 standard seal with spring clamp
C00064545 wire hook version seal (I guess this is what is on there)
Will either of them fit this machine?

    thanks

Re: Hoover Vision HD VHC680F runs for 20/30 secs then stops

I did say at the time, that it being in the shed and the damp weather is most probably the cause of it cutting out, as I could not find any other fault with it.
Thanks for the reply and suggestion Martin

Re: Hoover Vision HD VHC680F runs for 20/30 secs then stops

Been back to this machine tested heater all ok.
    I did get it going.
I kept trying it on different programs and each time it ran a bit longer until it just kept running and got nice and hot, I can only guess that as the machine is in a shed in the garden and the weather being a little damp, the sensor is causing it to cut out. But I suppose we will never know.
    Anyone having any other suggestions?

Thanks for the reply Martin, could you let me know how to check and test the diverter, just encase I do get a recall.
I do wonder what was causing the float to rise and fall (surging) causing the drain pump to cut in and out while it is still filling, but is is not doing since I did diagnostic reset.

Re: Bosch Dishwasher SGS43A52GB/35 fill and empties

Just been back to this machine and did a diagnostic reset (holding normal and eco buttons while switching on).
I think it was a problem with the diverter valve and this corrected it well anyway it works now.
Thanks for all the help and suggestions

Just a thought have you tried a diagnostic reset – holding normal and eco buttons while switching on.
I have just had a problem with a Bosh DW and I think it was a fault with the diverter valve stuck and this did the trick

If I push the micro switch that the pressure switch works the circulating pump works. It’s just that the pressure switch does not activate the micro switch although it appears to have enough water in the machine.
    Thanks for the reply

Would the pressure switch lock up the machine?

Do tighten the two connections at the top of the board and the one on the facia.
This is one that EMW recommends to do whenever you fit a board
I use a watch maker’s screwdriver to ease out the connections in each plug.
I have a kit of 5 watch makers’ screwdrivers in a plastic container I think I got it from Maplins
