I only hope I do not have to do this and it is something just stuck in the filter.
Hope one does not drop the screws, getting them out and putting them back!

I was wondering if the wash paddle filter could be removed and found out that it can but it is held in by four Torx screws on the inside of the drum and you have to drill two holes in the outer tub at the top to get to them!
I now have the service manual if anybody needs a copy

This Customer has to empty the filter every time she uses the machine and always finds coins etc in it, I think she has several children.
She just told me that she cannot open it now, it seems to be stuck
Thanks for your help and suggestion

Fire warning over models of Hotpoint, Creda, Indesit TD

Just found this in my local paper:-
Fire warning over models of Hotpoint, Creda and Indesit tumble dryers Posted: November 24, 2015

A number of Hotpoint, Creda and Indesit tumble dryers will need to be repaired over fears they present a fire risk.
Following Whirlpool’s acquisition last year of the Hotpoint/Indesit brands, Indesit Company has closely reviewed the safety of its product portfolio.
The review has found two types of tumble dryers manufactured between April 2004 and September 2015 are faulty and could cause a fire.
In a statement from Hotpoint on its website: “In some rare cases, excess fluff can come into contact with the heating element and present a risk of fire. The affected brands are: Hotpoint, Indesit and Creda

I know it will not help you, but I fitted the integrated heater replacement kit on one of these. (It is basically putting the old tubular heater back)
There was no mention of resetting the PCB in the paper work that came with the kit.
After I had finished I run the machine to check it was heating it wasn’t, I thought that the programmer must have gone so took of the heater replacement kit refitted his old one, they went and got a new machine.
So when you find out how to do it I would like to now as I still have the kit in my van

Re: Candy CIC60 Condenser dryer machine stoped & filter ligh

I did go back yesterday and strip it down, checked the water container for any blockages, this was completely clear.
I do have the wiring diagram for this dryer but I cannot see how the the blocked filter light gets its neutral supply from.
I can see the Live supply comes from A on the timer, brown wire to the micro switch then from this, the blue wire to the filter light.
The neutral come from the heater some how.
Could any one enplane how it gets it neutral feed please.

    Thanks

Thanks Steve for the quick reply, but would it not be the empty water light on and not the filter light?

Just a couple of thoughts but I am sure you will have thought of them.
Is the machine syphoning, is the outlet hose to far down the outlet pipe or is the outlet hose just lying along the ground before going out through the wall?
