    Re: Siemens DW door issues

If the appliance hasn’t been fixed into position properly, sometimes the closing of the door can push the whole appliance slightly back and so it doesn’t close properly.I have had that happen quite a few times.

    Re: Minerva Services

I received about 40 calls (mainly Argos Bush cookers) over a 2 month period, then all of a sudden, haven’t had a single call in 7 weeks.
I spoke to admin department to see if there was some sort of problem, and they just said that they had gone quiet, there was no problem.
I wondered if they had lost the Argos contract or is this something they do to all contractors?

If 2 of the rings don’t work it will be the power board that controls those rings.
Some times a soft reset(switch off at the mains for 1 minute, then switch back on again) will restart the pcb.

Sorry don’t know the values of resistance for the temperature probe. It is most likely to be the probe at fault, but there is a possibility that the pcb could also be the problem.Sorry I can’t be of any more use.

looked at the parts info and it has a temperature probe instead of a thermostat.Part number is BNT74X4563.

I sometimes find if you can enter the diagnostic cycle this will reset the machine back to the start program option.
If my memory serves me right.
Switch off-Select 90 degrees program-switch on while pressing start button and hold for a few seconds-you should then be in diagnostics-press again to start diagnostics.
    Hope this helps.Good luck.

Just received this reply after sending the job back.

“Sorry to hear that you are unwilling to work with us.

However please allow me to clear any mis-information that you have been given pertaining to this.

We previously appointed engineers via a particular service network – however it was brought to my attention that Key Performance Indicators – such as overall claims cost, Beyond Economical Repair rate increasing substantially as well as other contributing factors, my executive team have raised this dispute accordingly with the network concerned.

To add that although there is currently an ongoing dispute with regards to payment, I have always ensured that any local engineer sourced from MY office and that MY team have dedicated time and effort into striking up a business relationship with are always paid and in 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of cases these payments are made within 5-7 working days, upon receipt of an invoice.”

Thanks for the heads up gents.
I have now declined the work offered or any work in the future.
I got an email back from the person mentioned earlier (thanks Jackal)saying that I must have them confused with a different company.

Re: De Dietrich DTI714V hob dead.

Used to do quite a lot of these under warranty. This might sound stupid but if you switch both pcb’s around i.e. left to r/side and right to l/side, you can sometimes get them to work.
Failing that it can be either left or right pcb or both and/or touch button pcb.You can do any of these things then you get called back a few months later for similar fault.
Due to the cost I would try switching them and if this doesn’t work it’s probably not worth it.

    Re: lg washer

Sounds like the display pcb.Be careful because some of the replacement display and main pcb’s are not compatible with each other, and you would have to replace both items.
