Hi Mike,
you not had a go at repairing them selectors, its just the sprung contact that needs retensioning and cleaning with switch cleaner.

the common faults for earth leakage on these is E3 and E16.

the tds disk shows it a split tub for replacement as the welded tubs were not available at the time, very costly as you have to order all the bolts to reasemble it. if you post up the product code i will look up the welded tub part number.

41014503 selector 22 settings, is the correct part number.

door lock or wiring too it if you are lucky, and also a pcb if your not, as it will have taken out some of the tracks. but please check all componants for low resistance readings as they upset the microprosser and do strange things.

there is a fuse on the pcb it sometimes gets taken out by a bulb failure, ask the customer if it went dead when a door was opened, failing that it will be the pcb.

check the wash heater, common known problem, you will need an insulation meter to check it, put it on quick wash wait untill the heater is on for 5 mins and then test it.

the part number for the door lock is 0020400505B and the pcb is 0024000194D, go for the door lock first as there is a technical bull issued for E1 problems on some door locks.

its the right part number for the switch, you might have pulled a wire off the grill door switch, did you try the grill with the door open, ?.its a simple wiring job on that cooker, if you want the circuit dagram send me a pm with an email address.
