    Hi ashfordkent,

    very common problem with all of the Beko defrost timers, you best change it or you will be recalled back soon.

    The last 6 inches of the thermostat capilary needs to be attached to the plate (evaporator) assembley for correct operation of the thermostat, there should be a clip of some kind to keep it clamped to the evaporator.
