had this problem before, was the door interlock the same as the one you took off the appliance or was it looks the same differant colour, if so the door latch pecker does not make contact, dont ask why but a genuine interlock solved the problem somthing to do with the length of the door pecker catch according to servis technical.Bob.

this appliance was badged Swan for the littlewoods group,
it is also badged for quite a few other makes as well.
as for the thermostats a normal vt9 fits most larder and f/freezer units just keep the spare capilary wound up tight in the thermostat housing.Bob.

dont think the two faults are related, ask the repair agent to adjust the door balancing, its possible the heating element has failed and that is what is causing the electric fault. you dont use 4 in 1 dishwasher tablets by any chance.Bob.

do you have the full model number please, its located on the top of the oven so you will need to remove it out of the housing about 6 inches to see it, the no. has the letters GB in the middle.

its quite common for the door hinge assembly to become damaged by poor instalation, does your door fall down when you open it, if so the fitter has not adjusted the door balancing system correctly, this fault can be repaired in your home.Bob.

Hi Bill,
i hade one with poor wash perfomance and it turned out to be a blocked air vent in the soap dispenser causing presure in the tub due to air not escaping, this made the water pressure sensor think it was full of water but it only reached the bottom of the inner tub. had me baffeled for half an hour before i found it.Bob.
