    Re: Candy Fridge/Freezer won’t defrost.

    Hi Guest,
does the compressor stop and the appliance go quiet when you turn the temperature control to the 0 position. if it still runs then it is the pcb assmbley and since it had been changed from the original you will need an engineer to fit it.
let us know the result. 😉

Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?

You book a call 35 miles away just as a faver for a friend, customer says no problem i will be in all day, arrive at 2pm no reply, sit outside chatting to next door nieghbour who is working in the garden, he says she went out about 12 oclock at 2.30 pm im off to the next call. phone rings 3pm its the office customer has waited all day am i still calling 😯 , advise the office of the situation my call booker gets a load of abuse and the phone slammed down as soon as she mentioned the next door nieghbour :x, that friend is to get an earbashing if he is still a friend when i catch up with him, as for the customer address is noted for the next time she needs a repair 🙂

    Have a good weekend all

    Hi DPM
Baumatic cookers have a 5 year parts guarantee, Quote from the web site,

(In addition, your appliance is covered by a 5-year parts warranty)

give them a call it might work wonders.

Re: TEBA built-in hob gas control knobs

    good advice Mr P.
the rating plate is located on the botom of the hob so not always the easiest place to get to, if you do the number with GB in the middle will be of great help, failing that can you post up a picture of the hob.

    Hi Morag,
this appliance is produced by Teba and made in Turkey, which element do you require, is it the fan element or the grill element.

Have you not seen the website Ken 😮 http://www.teba.com/uk
there is quite a few of the good models in my neck of the woods, as for the Arrow badged ones they were built to price dictated by the retailer and that why they have problems.

    Re: worldco / Teba

    Well said Bryan,
I to will still hold up the flag for the Teba brand, as Bryan says it was very good value, and i have lots of customers who just love the appliance as it is cheap to repair.
But also remember that it was not just cheap appliances that they produced, the factory was Hi Tec. with some firsts in appliance design, both on the domestic and commercial markets worldwide.
