the most common cause for overfilling is the pressure tank getting blocked with grease.
they can be a pain to clear out as the pressure biottle is welded into the sump but with a flexible bit of wire / hose you should be able to clear the pressure bottle.
It only takes a little bit of grease to block them, rubbish design.

    Thanks for the advice.

I don’t mind admitting this was one of the most challenging jobs I’ve ever done

Probably took me about 4 hours in total including building wooden hinge support.

I’ve fitted loads of almost identical hinges 931330918 etc that have 12 turns on the spring and open easily. 931331245 have 9 turns so are incredibly hard to work with.

Smeg tech support said he can tension the springs with just gloves and it’s never taken him more than 15 minutes to complete the repair. Ha ha

Thanks for the part number for the pins. I’ll order them.

If you had to fit these hinges to this oven you wouldn’t say it’s not that hard.

Trouble is they don’t fit back into the oven slots now with the Allen keys fitted in, not enough room

Also the hinges seem to be bent now I had to put so much force on them to put the Allen keys in. What a mess this job turned out to be,

    Thanks mate
I’ll call them tomorrow. Unfortunately the old hinges are too distorted and don’t fit properly so it’s hard just to cut my losses and want away if the oven door is even worse than before

Even with arm pushed across it doesn’t expose enough of the hole to put a pin in it

F12 on these Hisense is a fill fault so it may indeed be that

I’ve agreed to do a job for this company. I said I wouldn’t go there unless they paid my labour rate upfront which they have done. I’ve read some terrible reviews about them not paying online. I’m tempted to cancel the job and refund them the labour.
Either that or I’ll have to ask for the parts payment before as well which means no first time fix but better than getting scammed again

It seems to take a live and neutral feed directly from the terminal block.

Does anyone know where to get a wiring diagram?

    Thanks for the reply Dave.

Seems crazy to scrap a machine for a simple fix like a door handle but I think its headed to the council tip this weekend

Completely agree I’ve just told YourMove that I’m not doing any more for them because of their contract conditions and commission scheme.

They now charge a shocking 18{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} commission on every job!!

There are so many good estate agents I work for who pay me by return I’m happy to loose their work.

Yes definitely payment in advance for the first job then accept one job at a time and wait for payment before accepting a new job.

You have to try to limit the debt with these companies that seem to come and go faster than the wind

Yes the new valve is fine and as I said in the post I even tried another one to be 100 per cent sure
