This model the cladding should tease off from the sides on the freezer door. Check for any securing screws underneath the door. But from memory I think the sides just teased out to release. They were made to be removed to enable access to the dispenser. Just very carefully…..

From my experience on these, the evaporator fan fails very rarely. But when it does it will take down the jazz board (pcb) mounted in the top of the fridge. You can usually see signs of melting around the coils on the fan. Change the fan motor first, if not it will soon take out the new pcb. Been there and done that….

Sky maintenance. Weren’t they the ones tied up in some legal battle last year via another company?

Re: DASA membership at all time low?

Yes your correct technically. But the reason for this is Dasa has swapped their website to a site capable of processing renewals online etc. Last year the old site was tweaked to be able to remove expired members this caused it to crash and gave all sorts of problems. This new site only went live on Friday and letters have gone out to members today/tomorrow. Renewals will now be done online. But non of the members list has been carried over as it’s down to the members to log on and register their details. It’s been a long time in coming. The changes are back office stuff so not that obvious. If the member doesn’t set their business address on Google maps it defaults to Northants. So there could be a glut of members in Northants if not done correctly.

Re: Maytag GZ2626GEKB Fridge/Freezer Water not shutting off

Hi, sounds like you may need a water filter head kit. This is the connection the water filter fits into and they can break off inside and start to leak. http://www.partadvantage.com/diagram/2/ … 88/680/900
Part required 67004659 if not available through UKW shop, then go to ukservica@maytag.com. The fittings can differ so check the water connection where the plumbing kit joins to take the initial water up to the filter. On this machine the filter is before any valve and at mains pressure permanently.
