does the machine keep draining, if so there is probably flood water in the base. then machine will go into flood prevention mode. now you have cured the leak make sure all water is tipped out of the base. this will reset the float switch.

this proves that the thermostat is ok, and you are probably correct about the lower element being faulty. if you switch on the oven function using both elements and keep your hand on the base of the oven it should get hot fairly quickly, and the outer part of the grill element also will get very hot quickly (carefull not to burn yourself). if the base does not get hot quickly its about 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance its the element. if you require anymore help on getting a spare part etc email me or give me a call (ask for Barry)

Hi, same as the person with the kenwood today on this forum. (also a delonghi actually.)

    ——————————————————————————–
is there a selector switch for multi functions on that oven. if you are using the mode with fan and two elements the chances are that one element is down. if there is a selection with a picture of a fan with a circle around it try that mode. this would be the normal fan oven mode.

just had a look at the spares list, it does have upper and lower elements as you said but it also has a circular fan oven element around the fan. most fan ovens (without the multi function facility) would have just the one circular element.

if its on a flat surface, stainless nut & bolt with washers and rubber washer. ambersil sealant for cooker doors is also good stuff.

    Re: dodgy extension lead

How did they connect the extension lead to the machine plug, a loose double socket or something?

They actually cut the plug off the machine flex and wired on an extension type trailing socket, instead of putting it on the end of the extension. its not even a short cut, just stupid.

looks like the link wire has to be fitted between p1 & s1
all other wires are number for number.

limiter is only a overheat cutout. sounds like energy reg is wired wrong or maybe lost neutral to reg.

we always use EMW much easier + they will fix any damaged components and very often tell you what may have caused the fault.

    Re: ADP 8332

the lugs on the cover sieve usually break stopping the upper feed pipe from clipping back in. also check the seals at the point where the upper basket plugs into that feed pipe, this should be a tight fit, the rubbery seals break down and pressure is lost. you can only get that clip on seal section complete with feed pipe. not a cheap part and usually end up chucking the pipe. customer won’t be very happy after paying for a wash pump job.
