hi, had a look at the wiring diagram the 2 stats only stop the elements from coming on, the timer though gets its supply through 6 – 3 on the stat, is the stat dickie! 😕
years ago we had some timers that had a plastic cover over the hole in the timer housing, this cover/bung thingy was catching on the timer and sticking, offical repair, take off and throw away.
think stats come with element item 10 on tds if you need them

ok well the main problem with this model seems to be the fridge backpanel suffers from ICEBALLING stopping the fan causing poor cooling. But a bye product is the bottom of fridge freezes and the water chiller freezes aalso in extreme cases it splits. Havent changed one so not sure where the pipes go but I reckon 48 hours total defrost so you can feed the new pipework thru but if you dont replace the back panel it will fail again, also test each component, defrost element, toc, sensor.

If the board isnt goosed you would expect it to show a fault code, these boards are not configuirable, loads of trouble, drain pumps blow boards. Does the door lock? but again if it failed you would expect it to show a code.

which lights are flashing and did you count the number of times they each flash. end of cycle light shows first digit, start/pause second digit.

definetely not a fault code, and electronic fault perhaps.

without going into a diagnostic program to funstion test all components its difficult to say, on the majority of faults a code is displayed by a sries of flashing lights if no code is displayed and you cannot select a program I would suspect a board failure, this may be caused by an other component failure. Best to seek some advice, click on the reb tool box!

hi tony havent worked on wpol for a couple of years but from memory the stats caused similar problem, the ducts block with fluff and the stat fails killing machine, I THINK!!!!!!

does the drum turn freely by hand with no restrictions? if so it could be either motor or module, LG fault codes are a bit vague! 😕 if drum is restricted by a foreign object the slow tumble resistance on motor may show this up to the electronics.
