    user pcbs prone to failing E90/E91 code , vent steam hose can get damaged causing leak onto boards also

    most common fault on these are the drain pump, after locking the door should go into drain, if pump goes down to earth will blow board.

    if the drain pump goes down it wont do anything can also take out the board. get into diagnostic position ten read light flashes ….end 2 start/pause 1? drain pump!

    hi, do you know how to access the diagnostic program, sounds like its stuck in a prog, are there 3 lines in the display when its turned on, if not press the pause button then the skip button to advance to the end.

    motor is started by a 4mf capacitor, is this going o/c when hot?

    a) Motor winding interrupted/short-circuited
    b) Electrical connections loose / interrupted
    c) Motor jammed (foreign bodies/pump unit)
    d) Tachymetric sensor interrupted/short-circuited

    JUST HAD A LOOK AT THE PICTURES DOESNT SHOW A SEPERATE RESTRICTER. VALVE PART NO. 1240825008. HAS SOMEONE CHANGED IT BEFORE? FITTING NEW ONE AINT TOO BAD, NED TO TAKEBACK OFF TO ALLOW ROOM TO MOVE DRYER PIPEWORK ETC.

    this model was first produced in 1994. the serial no. will tell you the year and week of manufacture i.e. 9401 would be week 1 year 1994. after 2000 they dropped the first 0 in the year so week 1 of 2001 would be 101
    hope this helps. by the way you said the circ pump was ok , these had a habit of sticking with unuse, does the impellor turn freely?

    hi had loads of trouble, one particular machine changed heater and sensors etc a few times couldnt cure it no help from LG customer got it exchanged from currys, had another samething left the customer last week he was going to LG!

    hi, there should be a restricter in the valve, the water show only trickle in, never had one leak from there, is there a blockage in the condensor further down?

    the older models with the syphon tubes did suffer badly, and if left to dry it would fill once, so I think you are going in the right direction. Take the syphon tubes out, if water runs out of them this is a sign the sumps blocked. Try poring boiling water into the syphon chamber, to soften any crap, the remove the water with something like a syringe or suck it out with some pressure hose (try not to suck too hard) Check pink and white hose from the underside of the sump are these full of water, attatch a piece of hose to the summp and blow down it.
